We are so excited to have a part in what God is doing here in Peru as well as North Africa. Every month gets busier and more exciting. There very rarely is a dull moment in the life of a family in the ministry. This past month I had the privilege of preaching in three different churches here in Arequipa and coordinated two mission conferences taking place the same week. Talk about insanity! All morning we had classes and special events at the Peru Bible College and then we went straight from there to Faith Baptist Church for services every evening. Because of a tragic death of a close church member, our guest speaker was unable to make it throughout the week. We divided the teaching and preaching sessions between three of us. I had the privilege of preching four times and teaching six times throughout the week. The Lord blessed all of the workshops and services we had, and I learned a lot from doing it. Several young people surrendered their lives to become missionaries, and Faith Baptist Church committed to give over $25,400 to missions this year. Praise the Lord for what He is doing through the people here in Peru! A couple of weeks ago we had our Friday night Bible study. After answering a ton of questions two individuals accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior. Please pray for them to grow in their spiritual lives as we go through discipleship lessons together. The Muslim prayer group is growing and we are planning on making videos together that we will use to promote Muslim evangelism all over the Spanish speaking world. We have a lot of wonderful young people with a heart to make a difference in the Muslim world. Please pray for them to take the next step in getting to the field. One of the biggest needs that they have right now is raising their needed support. It’s definitely a challenge, but I have no doubt that the Lord will supply the means for them to get the job done.
