Since our email two weeks ago, 150 people have signed up to be Message of Hope Volunteers! Praise the Lord! We are half way toward our goal of 300! With 300 Hope Volunteers we can send the gospel to 20,000 homes this year. Eight churches have got their whole church involved. So far churches from Peru to England and the United Sates have signed up.
Ali grew up in a large city in Northern Africa where no church existed. He had never had contact with the gospel. One day while praying at the mosque in his neighborhood he overheard two men laughing at a gospel tract that one had received in the mail. Out of curiosity Ali asked if he could borrow the tract. He was warned not to read it but when he took it home the Spirit of God began to work in his heart as he read it over and over again. He started correspondence with a Christian ministry and was soon saved. Today Ali is pastor a small but growing group of believers in that city. It is the only church in that city of over 1 million people.
