November, 2006

Gretchen and I want to thank you for making a difference in our life through your prayers. The Lord has blessed us incredibly in so many ways, and we are extremely grateful for the part you had in it. We had several more opportunities this week to work towards reaching Muslims with the gospel, and your prayers will strongly affect the fruitfulness of the seeds that were planted.

Muslim Evangelism 101

On Tuesday we had our second “Muslim Evangelism” group in Alpharetta, GA. A Moroccan friend of mine named Khalid gave his testimony about how he went from being raised in a devoted Muslim family in Morocco to accepting Christ as his personal Savior in the United States. It was amazing to hear how God led him step by step to an understanding of need for forgiveness and the struggles that he had with overcoming the traditional Islamic dogma. His story left us encouraged about the possibility for more individuals who have the same questions and issues as he did to find their answers in Jesus Christ. After he spoke we divided into groups and discussed some ideas about how we personally can engage in a spiritual and thought provoking conversation with the Muslims we come in contact with every day. If you would like to learn more about what is going on in Muslim evangelism today or you would like some great material on the topic, check out our new blog at www.cfme.wordpr ess.com. Please continue to pray that the Lord will open more doors of opportunity while we are still living in Georgia. We only have 92 days remaining before we leave for the mission field, but we still have time to make a difference in Atlanta’s Muslim community. It’s time that we start reaching the “unreachable.”

Sincerely,
